International Autumn School 2026 at YSU
Within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University and the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS), the International Autumn School 2026 will take place in Yerevan from 30 September to 10 October 2026.
The Autumn School aims to explore how international law is interpreted, contested, and instrumentalized in contexts of conflict and political transformation, with a particular focus on Armenia and the South Caucasus. Combining perspectives from international law, political science, and area studies, it brings together co-research, co-teaching, and capacity building between IOS and YSU.
The School is intended for students in advanced Bachelor's, Master's, or doctoral programs with a background in law, international relations, political science, or related disciplines.
Applications must be submitted by 31 July 2026 to daad26@ios-regensburg.de.
The Autumn School is part of the DAAD-funded project "Contested Spaces, Fragmented Orders: International Law and Politics in the South Caucasus", as part of the "East–West Dialogue" program, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
