
Starting from the 2023-2024 academic year, YSU STEM High School ensures a continuous educational chain from school to university, and then to science. The school's students, such as 11th grader Mariam Galstyan, now have the opportunity to participate in laboratory research, bringing them one step closer to the world of science. Mariam is currently studying the circadian rhythm, a natural process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle of organisms.
At the STEM High School, where YSU scientists teach, admission is based on a competitive process. The school offers education in both social sciences and humanities, as well as in natural sciences and mathematics.
In addition to mandatory subjects, the school's students have the opportunity to choose elective courses, deepening their knowledge in areas they are interested in.
